Artist Statement
Things get made, they accumulate, then they get moved around. Each moment of rest is in anticipation of the next move - a shift motivated by hope, desire, and potential. I'm drawn to the transitional place that is neither/nor, where the absence of specificity destabilizes, and frustrates, the viewers need to fix meaning. The Toronto Sculpture Garden is a single point on a grid of potential beginnings and endings, or in other words, a place in- between.
